Families across Sabine Parish are invited to kick off the new school year at the annual Sabine Parish Back to School Rally, where students will receive free school supplies while enjoying a morning of encouragement and community fellowship.

The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Many Elementary School.

Registration will take place from 8 to 9 a.m., with the program beginning at 9 a.m. School supplies will be distributed immediately following the program.

Organizers say the event is designed to help students start the 2026-27 school year prepared and confident by providing essential classroom supplies at no cost to families.

To receive school supplies, students must be present and accompanied by an adult.

The annual Back to School Rally brings together community members, volunteers, and local organizations to support Sabine Parish students as they prepare to return to the classroom.

Organizers encourage families to mark their calendars and attend the free event, saying they hope to send students into the new school year with “joy and confidence.”
