CASA of Central LA, Inc. – Serving the Children of Natchitoches, Red River and Sabine Parishes

CASAKIDS122017Would you join us in making this holiday season a little brighter for abused and neglected children in Natchitoches, Red River and Sabine Parishes? Your contribution of $10.00 or more will help us provide Christmas gifts and other services for these children.

Each year CASA provides assistance to about 100 abused or neglected children in our community. When a child is removed from their parents, as a result of abuse or neglect, and is placed into the foster care system, many difficult decisions must be made regarding the child’s future. With the assistance of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers, our judges are better equipped to make decisions leading to children growing up in safe, permanent homes. The children we serve face enormous strife and recurrent changes. CASA volunteers are trained to make independent and objective recommendations regarding the best interests of the child and are often the most consistent adult in their lives.

Your generosity and support will lead to bigger smiles on the faces of many children this Christmas and give them hope for the morning when they no longer wake up in foster care. Please make your check payable to CASA and send it to CASA, 1200 Keyser Ave., Suite B, Natchitoches, LA 71457.

For each $10.00 you donate, your name will be entered into a drawing for Special Edition Black Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones. The drawing for the Beats Solo3 Headphones will be Monday, December 18, 2017, just in time for a Christmas present!
(You do not have to be present to win.)

Many Children’s Christmas Party

Polar Express movie image

You better watch out, you better not pout, and you better be good because Santa Claus
is coming to town!

The Town of Many is hosting its third annual Christmas Pajama  Party for the children of Many and the surrounding areas at the Many Community Center Saturday, Dec. 23, at 7 p.m. and Santa Claus will be there in person.

The Polar Express movie will begin at 7 p.m.  However Santa Claus is arriving at 6 p.m. to visit with children.  Families are encouraged to arrive early to meet Santa and have their pictures made so the movie can start on time and Santa can return to the North Pole for last minute preparations for his annual Christmas Eve trip around the world.

The children will receive special gifts  after the movie as they exit the Community Center.

Everyone — moms, dads, grandparents and all children — are  encouraged to come to the Christmas event in their best pajamas.

Admission is free and the special event is a gift from the Town of Many and Mayor Ken Freeman.

Concessions will be available for only $1 each.
