Many Lady Tigers volleyball team builds skills at NSU team camp

The Many Lady Tigers Volleyball team is one step closer to the start of the upcoming season after participating in the Northwestern State University (NSU) Team Camp, where players spent the day sharpening their skills and preparing for competition.

Coaches took members of the Lady Tigers squad to the camp, where they participated in drills, team activities, and instruction designed to improve their game while competing alongside other teams.

The program described the experience as both educational and enjoyable, saying the athletes gained valuable knowledge that will help them throughout the season.

“We had a very fun camp and learned so much,” the team shared. “We are so proud of how they did, and it makes us even more ready for the season.”

Team camps like the one hosted by NSU provide student-athletes with opportunities to develop fundamental skills, improve teamwork, and gain valuable experience before the regular season begins.

With preseason preparations continuing, excitement is building around the Lady Tigers volleyball program. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see the team in action, as coaches announced that the 2026 season schedule will be released soon.

As anticipation grows for the upcoming season, the Lady Tigers are looking to build on what they learned at camp and carry that momentum onto the court this fall.
