The Sabine Parish AgCenter is exploring the possibility of launching a homeschool club and is asking local homeschooling families to share their interest.

According to the AgCenter, families have periodically expressed interest in a homeschool club. Although one was offered last year, no participants attended.

Now, with a volunteer interested in serving as the club’s leader, the AgCenter is once again gauging community interest before moving forward.

Organizers are asking homeschool families who would like to participate to comment on the AgCenter’s social media post or send a direct message. They are also requesting feedback on preferred meeting days and times to help determine a schedule that best meets the needs of participating families.

The Sabine Parish AgCenter said input from local homeschool families will help determine whether there is enough interest to establish the club and identify the most convenient meeting times.
