The Sabine Parish School Board is looking for future school bus drivers and is inviting interested individuals to register for an upcoming Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training class later this month.

The four-day class is scheduled for July 20-23, 2026, and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the Education Support Center.

The training is designed for individuals interested in becoming school bus drivers and earning the qualifications needed to safely transport students throughout Sabine Parish.

School officials say bus drivers play a vital role in the education system by providing safe and dependable transportation for students each day. The upcoming CDL class offers an opportunity for prospective drivers to begin the certification process and explore a rewarding career serving local schools.

Anyone interested in becoming part of the Sabine Parish School Board’s transportation team is encouraged to register before the class begins.
