
State Rep. Alan Seabaugh’s campaign for the Senate District 31 seat benefited in the last days of fundraising from his 12-year tenure in the House.
The Republican Legislative Delegation Campaign Committee contributed $10,000 and three New Iberia businesses – Lady Brandi LLC, Lady Eve LLC and Mr. Ridge LLC – with links to House Majority Leader Blake Miguez contributed $2,500 each.
The campaign raised $57,200 in the Sept. 5-24 period and spent $172,000. It also repaid a $50,000 loan from Seabaugh. It started the period with $433,009 on hand, ending with $268,300 in the till.
Other $2,500 contributors (some may have been previously listed due to overlapping reporting requirements) included:

Stine PAC, Lake Charles, Cres PAC, Metairie, Continuing America’s Strength & Security and EnpacLAA, both Baton Rouge.
