On Monday, March 15th, Assistant Warden Kaylynn Remedies announced that Sabine Parish Detention Center’s Jailer Nathan Henderson was awarded the Grey Line Keychain for breaking-up a fight in one of the dorms recently.
Traditionally, the Thin Gray Line represents correctional officers all over the country. This keychain is a way to honor those who serve in correctional institutions, including, but not limited to, prison guards, probation officers, parole officers, bailiffs, and jailers.
Henderson’s quick response and courage kept the situation from becoming worse.
Sheriff Aaron Mitchell thanks Henderson for going above and beyond in his job duties.
