Many High School is inviting local veterans, families and community members to participate in a special Veterans Day celebration on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The celebration will begin at 10:50 a.m. in the Many High School gymnasium, with all veterans invited to attend as the school recognizes their service, courage and sacrifices.
As part of the celebration, Many High School is asking community members to help recognize veterans by submitting information about family members and friends who have served in the military.
The school hopes to highlight the contributions of veterans from the community and ensure their service is remembered and appreciated.
Families and community members wishing to recognize a veteran are asked to provide the following information:
Veteran’s full name
Photograph of the veteran
Branch of military service
Military rank or highest rank achieved
Years of military service
The deadline to submit veteran information is Friday, November 6, 2026.
All submissions should be emailed to martinezs@spsb.la.
School officials are encouraging residents to share the announcement with family members, friends and neighbors who may wish to recognize a veteran.
The Veterans Day celebration will provide students and community members with an opportunity to express appreciation for the men and women who have served the nation while recognizing the importance of their contributions and sacrifices.
Many High School emphasized that every veteran has a story worth sharing and that the school would be honored to recognize those who have served.
