SABINE PARISH, La. – The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced that 2026 property taxes are now available for online inquiry and payment, with paper tax notices expected to be mailed to property owners in the coming weeks.
Property owners can begin reviewing their ad valorem tax information and making payments through the Sheriff’s Office website or other available payment methods.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, all 2026 property tax payments are due by December 31, 2026.
Residents have several options for paying their property taxes, including online, by telephone, in person or through the mail.
Payments may be submitted through the Sheriff’s Office website at www.sabinesheriff.org by selecting “Payments” and then “View and Pay Taxes.” The same payment option is available through the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office mobile application.
Property owners may also make payments by telephone by calling 318-256-9241, option 1.
Those wishing to pay in person may visit the Sheriff’s Office at 400 S. Capitol Street, Room 105, in Many.
Residents who prefer to pay by mail may wait until they receive their official property tax statement. The Sheriff’s Office asks that mailed payments include the remittance sheet located at the bottom of the statement to ensure proper processing.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, money orders, personal checks and debit or credit cards. However, the Sheriff’s Office advises that a service charge will be assessed for payments made using debit or credit cards.
Officials also remind property owners not to send cash through the mail.

Residents are encouraged to review their statements upon receipt and submit payments before the December 31 deadline.
