The Town of Many recognized local 4-H members and leaders Monday as part of National 4-H Week, observed Oct. 4-10.
Mayor Hable presented local 4-H students, leaders and Julia Campbell of the LSU AgCenter with a proclamation recognizing National 4-H Week and the program’s contributions to young people in the community.
Town officials highlighted 4-H as an opportunity for youth to develop leadership skills, serve their communities and gain knowledge and experience that can benefit them throughout their lives.
The town also recognized the families, volunteers and 4-H leaders who contribute their time and support to local members and programs.
“Our community is stronger because of the young people who choose to get involved, give back, and make a difference,” the Town of Many stated.
The recognition is part of the community’s celebration of National 4-H Week, Oct. 4-10, 2026.
