The NARO Louisiana Chapter will host a free evening focused on understanding property and mineral rights Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at the North Sabine Fire Protection District Office, 16525 Hwy 171 in Zwolle.

Danny Wells, president of the NARO LA-AR Chapter, will present “Mineral Rights for Property Owners.”

Topics will include oil and gas lease basics, royalty payments, industry scams and legislation affecting minerals.

The event is free, and NARO LA-AR will provide dinner.
