Expecting mothers are invited to attend a Community Baby Shower hosted by the Louisiana Department of Health’s Community HealthWays team on Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Sabine Medical Center Conference Center in Many.

The free event will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 240 Highland Drive and will provide helpful resources and information for expectant mothers.

According to the flyer, attendees can expect:

Baby care resources

Brief educational sessions on infant care

Door prizes

No-cost diaper bags

Vendors focused on baby-related products and services

There is no cost to attend, but seating is limited and registration is required.
