Members of the Sabine Parish 4-H are celebrating an outstanding showing after local students brought home top team and individual honors at the recent Louisiana State Hunting Skills Competition.

Nine Sabine Parish 4-H members competed in the statewide event last weekend under the leadership of coach Chris Pearce, earning impressive results in both the junior and senior divisions.

The Junior Hunting Skills Team captured 1st place overall, while the Senior Team secured a strong 2nd place finish, highlighting the parish’s continued success in outdoor education and competitive shooting sports programs.
