MANY, La – Project Celebration, Inc. hosted a Domestic Violence 101 For Law Enforcement training class this morning instructed by Darla O’Connor, Justice Systems Advocate, Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (LCADV) Baton Rouge.
Sabine Parish Sheriff Detectives & Deputies and Many Police Department (Many, Louisiana) Officers were in attendance. O’Connor explained the dynamics of domestic violence, why does he/she stay, batterer tactics, types of violence, determining predominant aggressor, lethality factor and domestic violence programs.
Sheriff Aaron Mitchell thanks the LCADV and PCI for their time and the opportunity for his staff to attend this very important training.
