National Public Safety Communications Week Celebrated

The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Bank of Montgomery recognized local dispatchers for their hard work and dedication as first responders and “Unseen Heroes.”
The Sheriff’s Office released the following statement;
In honor of National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, Sheriff Aaron Mitchell wants to honor the Sabine Parish Sheriff Dispatchers and 911 Operators. These ladies are the behind the scene heroes of the Sheriff’s Office.
Sometimes dispatchers do not get the credit and gratitude they deserve. Dispatch was presented with a cake and a snack basket as a small token our appreciation.
Along with the SPSO the Many branch of the Bank of Montgomery honored the dispatchers as well. They delivered treats to the workers and thanked them for all the work they do.
We appreciate the tireless efforts of all dispatchers, but especially those that serve to keep our area safe and taken care of!
