Local VFW Offering Reward For Information On Stolen Medallions

— — CONVERSE, La – The local chapter of the VFW is offering a reward in conjunction with the arrest of the person that stole three medallions from a veterans grave. 
 
Around March 20th, 2021, Three medals appeared to have been stolen from the grave of Robert Allen “Bob” Goins in Cassel Cemetery located in Converse, Louisiana. The medals were said to have been symbolic of his time in Vietnam and included medallions for First Calvary, Purple Heart, and Bronze Star. 
 
The Zwolle-Ebarb VFW Post 5187 is now offering a $1000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the theft of the three medallions from the headstone at Cassel Cemetery on Cassel Loop.
