Arrest Made In Local Credit Card Theft

SABINE PARISH, La – The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s department has successfully solved a local crime where a stolen credit card was used in over $4000 worth of charges. According the the Sabine Parish Shreffi’s Department’s Facebook page; The following crime has been solved and some of the merchandise purchased has been recovered.

A tip submitted through the Sabine Parish Sheriff App led Detective McNeely to arrest Warren Edward Hurd (age-53) of Many. Hurd was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for Identity theft over $1000 where the victim was over age of 60.

Sheriff Aaron Mitchell points out the success of the new Sabine Parish Sheriff App in solving two cases within the past week.
