The Many Police Department is currently investigating the theft of a firearm from a vehicle that occurred earlier in the week of Aug. 10. The vehicle was parked at a home on West Alabama Street and entered during the night. There was no evidence of forced entry into the auto. Taken from the vehicle was a 9mm Kel-Tec P11 semi-automatic pistol. Also removed from the parked vehicle was the owner’s billfold.
