A Florein woman, who has been missing since July 9, has possibly been spotted in the DeRidder area on Aug. 9.
Officials are looking for any leads or information to assist in the search for Tiffnea Anette White Nugent, 33. She is described as a tall, white, female with brownish-red hair.
According to her family, Nugent had friends in DeRidder, and visited often. They were not surprised when they heard she might have been in the DeRidder area.
Nugent was supposed to go to church with her mother, Tanya Smith, the morning of July 9, but never showed up.
A missing person’s report was officially filed on July 20, with the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department.
Nugent’s grandmother, Jenette Pelt said, “It is unlike her to be gone so long without calling me or her mother.”
Family friend Karen Sanderford said, “Her youngest son recently turned 10. She had been planning a big party for him, and wouldn’t miss it for the world. She loves her children and wouldn’t just disappear like this.”
If anyone has seen Nugent, or has any information about her whereabouts, call the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department at 318-256-9241.
