Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell announces Scott William Wood (age-41) of Noble was indicted in United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana in Shreveport on February 8.
Wood is charged with:
-Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine,
-Possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking,
-Felon in possession of a firearm.
This indictment is the result of a traffic stop conducted by Deputy Jacob Bridges on Dec. 26. Deputy Bridges located suspected marijuana, over 4 ounces of methamphetamine and 3 firearms in the vehicle where Wood was a passenger.
The Sabine Parish Sheriff Tactical Narcotics Team was also investigating the illegal narcotic activity of Wood.
Wood is currently incarcerated at the Sabine Parish Detention Center.
