Two Sabine Parish men arrested for bar fight

Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell reports an altercation that occurred at “The Border” lounge in Zwolle early Saturday morning, Dec. 3. At approximately 1AM, a fight occurred between several subjects inside the bar, then it moved outside, causing Zwolle Police Officers and Sabine Parish Sheriff Deputies to respond.
Officers determined Bobby Parrie Jr, Dustin Cartinez, and Payton Lindsey were involved in the fight. Parrie Jr was seriously injured in this altercation, and he was later taken to a Shreveport hospital, where he remains at this time.
The Zwolle Police Department is the investigating agency in this case. More arrests and charges are pending at this time.
Cartinez is a commissioned, volunteer Reserve Deputy with the Sheriff’s Office, who was not on duty at the time of the incident. This commission allowed Cartinez to assist with several drownings on Toledo Bend Lake using his marine vessel. Cartinez was also a full-time correctional officer under a former Sheriff’s administration.
