Central Sabine Fire and Many Police Department held a joint Christmas Banquet on Dec. 20. Chief Gowen started the event by welcoming everyone and making an important announcement. The department has implemented changes and has worked tirelessly to improve our class rating.

 

Central Sabine Fire now holds a Class 5 PIAL rating.

 

This is a huge milestone for the department, community, and citizens. This was made possible through the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, staff, and the Board of Directors. They are the only fire protection district in Sabine Parish to achieve a Class 5 rating. This will result in lower fire insurance rates for all residents of Wards 3 and 4.

 

Awards were also given to various members for their efforts.
