The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested an individual for shooting a gun into the air Saturday night at the Parish Fair.
On October 2, 2021 around 9:40 p.m., officers working the Parish Fair requested additional help in reference to a large group of juveniles fighting near the rear of the event. As additional officers arrived a second group of juveniles began to fight near the front entrance of the fair. During the second fight, Danny LaCaze, (W/M, 57 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) fired a gunshot into the air causing everyone in the area to seek shelter.
Danny Lacaze was arrested for Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits of Natchitoches and Disturbing the Peace.
