Union Parish, La – Union Parish Football will have a different lead for the next few weeks as Head Coach Joe Spatafora serves a self-imposed suspension. 

The news of this suspension follows a heated incident at the Union Parish vs. Many game, hosted by Many, where Spatafora exhibited what one SPJ staff writer reported as a fireworks show of “unsportsmanlike conduct.”

The news was first reported by the K104 Scoreboard Show Facebook page. According to the K104 post, Coach Spatafora first announced his self-imposed suspension on the morning talk show “The Locker Room.” 

Currently, Spatafora is set to return the week of October 8th leading up to his team hosting Sterlington.
