SPSO Makes Drug Arrest Following Search Warrant

MANY, La – On May 31st, 2021 the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Tactical Narcotics Team, in conjunction with the FBI (Safe Streets task force) and the Tri-Parish Task Force, arrested Damien Martell Medlock (35) of Many. Medlock was arrested just outside of Many on Highway 1217.
 
Agents were able to obtain a search warrant from District 11 Judge Stephen B. Beasley due. The search warrant was obtained for his residence at 225 Highland Avenue in Many, Louisiana. As a result of the search warrant a total of 4.7 lbs. of Methamphetamine was seized with a street value of $52,640.00. Also found in the residence was packing materials, scales, and ledgers along with food cans that had been altered to hide drugs.
 
Medlock was booked in at the Sabine Parish Detention Center on the charges of Possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Methamphetamine), Distribution of schedule II (Methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of justice.
 
No bond has been set for Medlock at this time by Judge Stephen B. Beasley.
 
Sheriff Aaron Mitchell continues to stay persistent in his fight to put the drug dealers in Sabine Parish behind bars!
Drug dealers are NOT welcome in Sabine Parish!
