Artist chosen for 2018 Bass Unlimited Poster

Sabine Parish’s own JoAnn Cason has been commissioned to paint the 2018 Bass Unlimited Poster for Toledo Bend Lake Association. Cason is a member of the Depot Art Guild and Gallery in Many. She is presently employed by the Sabine Parish School Board in the Talented Program. Her past accomplishments include the 2015 and 2016 Sabine Free State Festival Posters, painting of the 2011 Lunker Fish located near Wal-Mart, 2008 Zwolle Tamale Fiesta Poster, and the 2007 TBLA Bass Unlimited Poster. She most recently painted one of the Book Nooks, the new free lending libraries, located throughout Many.
The Poster Unveiling is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the Cypress Bend Resort Grand Ballroom. The Unveiling event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served, and there will be a cash bar. Ms. Cason will be in attendance to sign and personalize posters.

Ms. Cason’s original painting, the first signed and numbered poster, as well as two original art pieces by Don Edwards and Eddie Pastureau, will be auctioned that evening.
